Wow this was phenomenal. Sang in a Virtual Chorus 6: "Sing Gently" and @ericwhitacre sent this to us after it premiered this morning. 17, 562 people sang in the chorus. What an honor to be a part of this. Since Covid this thing that has sustained me in my worst days has been all but shut down. Singers have been dubbed super spreaders. Emotionally that's a very hard thing to deal with. This thing that you've revered all your life and turned to for solace has been deemed radioactive. My only comfort is that maybe someone, somewhere would find some solace in this gorgeous piece of music. #virtualchoir6 #SingGently #ericwhitacre
